2021 | dir Will Guppy, An Táin Arts Centre

Ig and the Imaginaries (2021), written and directed by Will Guppy, was developed with the support of the Arts Council Ireland and An Táin Arts Centre. Rachael Gladwin was the composer and musical director, and wrote and recorded the full score in her home studio, using harp, percussion, accordion, guitar, voice, effects and samples (with additional tooty instruments played by Paul Guppy).

Ig and the Imaginaries is the comical, warm and engaging story of Ig – a little girl in 1920’s Germany who loses her imaginary friend. It is told through shadow puppetry, narration and music.
